Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the fourth season episode. She was in Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member of Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in her first Friends' appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends for a job which required additional time. Barone was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone was also a co-star in Daddio. Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone received her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2005 in 2004 for her work on the film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years since The War at Home ended its run Barone started her role as a recurring character in Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
